What are the Nortec Trail 2.1 Crampons?
They're the world's lightest quick-fit crampons, designed to give you maximum grip on snow and ice-covered trails. They fit trail shoes perfectly, thanks to their hi-tech, flexible elastomer construction and are highly durable to suit rough, rocky terrain during the winter.
The Nortec Trail 2.1 Crampons are versatile enough to be used for trail and alpine running, winter trail hikes, urban running, trekking and freetime in icy conditions.
What are they made with?
As mentioned, they have a hi-tech silicone elastomer frame, tested up to -60°c, to ensure maximum performance in extreme temperatures. The elastomers elastic properties allow the shape to bond well to any trail shoe, providing a comfortable fit and perfect positioning of the crampon.
The spikes are constructed with robust steel that offers performance without adding excessive weight.
Wires on the bottom use a special micro high-resistance stainless steel rope, completing the revolutionary system to enhance performance while providing flexibility and comfort to allow the foot to move naturally. The use of resistant stainless steel prevents rust and oxidisation to improve the longevity of these crampons so you can wear them for years to come.
What are their features?
These crampons have 14 steel spikes to provide fantastic stability and perfect grip for walking and running. Each spike is 8mm deep, long enough to dig into the ground and get a secure hold without hindering the foot's natural movement.
Each pair of crampons comes with an ultralight bag made of technical, functional material to keep them safe. It's small enough to be taken on a multi-day trip or for longer runs and done-in-a-day sessions without taking up too much room in a kit bag or backpack.

Crampons can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached.
