It all sounds very impressive, but how does it actually work? BioLite’s patented core technology captures waste heat from the fire through a heat probe attached to the orange powerpack. Heat then is converted into electricity via a thermoelectric generator - this powers a fan and sends electricity to a USB charging port. Excess power is stored in an internal battery. The internal fan injects air back into the burn chamber dramatically improving combustion and creating a cleaner, more efficient burn. You also get a smart LED dashboard that gives real time feedback on fire strength, power output and fan speed settings. The internal fan jets have 4 fan speed settings that circulate air for improved combustion and efficiency whilst the Honeycomb Heat Mesh creates a protective barrier from inner burn chamber, to protect the battery and further improve efficiency.
The integrated 2600 mAh battery can be pre-charged before your adventure and will charge your devices with or without a fire. The lightweight aluminium legs not only keep your fire off the ground and standing upright, they also fold away neatly for carrying. To use with the KettlePot or Portable Grill, simply attach the scalloped pot stand and get cooking!
