What is the BeFree AC Water Filter 1.0L?
It's an ultra-slim, lightweight two-stage water filtration system with a 1-litre capacity that can easily roll up and fit in any running vest or backpack pocket. Its replaceable activated charcoal filter delivers clean, safe, and great-tasting water wherever your adventures take you.
What is it made from?
Water Filter: The BeFree AC is a two-stage filter that uses a combination of a EZ-Clean membrane hollow fiber filter and a replaceable activated carbon filter, to deliver clean, safe, and great-tasting water wherever your adventures take you. The EZ-Clean Membrane protects against protozoa, bacteria, and microplastics, while the activated carbon filter improves taste, reduces odor, and filters chlorine to deliver reliable, fresh-tasting water.
Soft bottle: Katadyn have used a durable Hydrapak® Soft Flask bottle which is BPA-Free. The bottle is made from soft and flexible TPU to allow it to easily be stashed in a pocket when empty whilst still being robust enough not to spring a leak after a couple of uses.

This easy-to-use, lightweight water filter system features an ultra-slim bottle, ideal to fit in various running vests or backpack harness pockets for quick hydration on the go. The ultralight bottle features a silicone mouthpiece which can be easily removed to clean or replace and a sturdy flip cap to prevent accidental spillages. Its flexible design allows it to take up minimal space in your pocket when empty, whilst its rugged handle provides a comfortable grip and allows you to clip it to the outside of your backpack should you wish.
The fast-flow replaceable carbon filter can filter up to 2 litres per minute, allowing you to quickly hydrate on the trail. The EZ-Clean Membrane filter doesn't require any backflushing or tool to clean it; simply swish or shake it under clean running water to keep it operating at its best.
