What are the Trango Pro GTX Boots?
They’re high-performance mountain boots designed to deliver maximum protection, support, and stability for technical adventures such as mountaineering, climbing, and alpine exploration.
The Trango Pro GTX boots also feature Gore-Tex® technology for complete waterproofing and breathability.
What are they made of?
The upper of these boots uses water-repellent, high-tenacity nylon, reinforced with HoneyComb Guard™ anti-abrasion zones for exceptional durability.
A Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort lining provides reliable waterproof protection without hindering breathability, helping to keep your temperature regulated and prevent sweat build-up when working hard.
A carbon-filled nylon insole is exceptionally lightweight yet provides ample underfoot support, comfort, and stability.
The midsole uses low-density PU and a TPU insert for rear crampon attachment options.
La Sportiva has used a Vibram® Cube Evo sole with a climbing zone toe and SpringLug Tech technology, which guarantees cushioning, even on solid ground, while remaining super lightweight. This design was developed by La Sportiva experts, seeking to maximise climbing performance.
Laces and the rear hook are made with recycled material to help lessen their environmental impact.
What are their features?
An Impact Brake System™ is applied to the sole, designed to absorb more negative ground impact and improve grip, especially downhill. It features a unique lug pattern that encourages as many lugs as possible to touch the ground when you walk, giving any impact more room to spread and, therefore, absorbing more of the shock.
The built-in La Sportiva Vortex Gaiter is made with water-repellent, stretchy, abrasion-resistant material. It features a quick closure system that helps prevent debris and snow from entering while protecting the upper lacing.
These boots are made using a Trango-Ergo last, which allows them to better adapt to and fit different foot shapes for optimum comfort.
Lastly, the 3D Flex System Evo™ uses a multidirectional hinge on the upper and larger sole surface in contact with the ground. This technology allows the ankle to move and flex more naturally without losing stability. This means you can achieve enhanced foot control and stability on tricky terrain, with a better fit and more secure heel.
