What are the Speedcross 6?
Salomon Speedcross is the classic choice for fast paced, lightweight trail activity. They're lightweight trail running shoes designed to give maximum grip under the foot and enhance comfort for optimum trail performance, now made with recycled materials.
What are they made of?
The Speedcross 6 comprise recycled materials derived from PET bottles and material waste, and durable ripstop fabric that can resist tears, rips and abrasion against rugged surfaces and jagged rocks.
Anti-debris mesh is a tightly woven mesh that helps to prevent debris from getting trapped and is highly breathable to improve temperature regulation. For wet days, the mesh also allows water to drain away quickly if you're treading through wet or boggy patches on your route.
The midsoles of the shoes are built with EnergyCell™+, a high-rebound, durable compound that cushions the foot and helps to absorb shock and impact for intense workouts.
The Mud Contagrip® soles offer optimum traction on loose, soft, rugged, or uneven terrain. They have deep, sharp lugs that can dig into mud and grip the ground effectively, and are made from a rubber compound that prioritises adhesion. These outsoles also ensure mud is shed quicker and doesn't build up on the bottom of the trainers, enhancing their performance and grip at all times.
What are their features?
A Quicklace™ lacing system lessens bulk compared to a traditional style lace fastening. It allows you to tighten the fit of the shoes with just one simple pull, making it quick and easy to put on or remove the shoes or adapt the fit. Once adjusted, it can be tucked away into the tongue pocket to prevent it from snagging or catching.
The lacing system works in tandem with the Sensifit® construction, helping to clamp the foot in place without uncomfortable tension from conventional laces.
