90-day returns period

DPD Returns Portal
We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 48 working hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.

We do not offer a free returns service. If using the DPD Returns Portal, a charge of £5 will be deducted from your refund when processed. Returns from Highlands and Islands using the DPD Returns Portal will deduct £15.50 from the order refund. Large DPD returns will have £6 deducted from their refund. (Specifications are over 5kg, and over Length of 30cm x width of 30cm and height of 10cm). If customers are returning items using their own postal service, and our returns form, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

THIS BIT IS IMPORTANT - due to a technical issue with YEEP lockers, we are currently advising customers not to use them and to drop parcels off at a DPD Pickup Shop. Using a YEEP locker may significantly delay your parcel being returned to us and your refund being issued.

We are not liable for delays once an order has been dispatched. However, we will always work with the courier to assist in resolving any delivery issues where possible.
If an order has not been received, customers must contact us within 14 days of dispatch so that we can investigate and assist accordingly.

If you have returned an item using the DPD returns portal and have not received confirmation of your refund, you must contact us within 14 days of dispatching your return so we can investigate. After this period, we may be unable to investigate or raise a claim.

We do not offer a free returns service. Customers returning items using their own postal service and our returns form are responsible for any postage costs when returning goods (excluding warranty returns).

  • Appropriately package your item in protective packaging, failure to do so will invalidate your rights to a full refund or return (including footwear boxes which can be damaged in transit/customer care if not protected)

If you feel that your item is defective/broken/faulty and it is still under warranty, please contact our Customer Support team ([email protected]) with as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

In return, they will supply you with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN), a Returns Form and a FREE postage label. Please complete the returns form with as much detail as possible and include it with your item.

We do not offer exchanges. Instead we ask you kindly to complete a new order for the desired replacement and return the unwanted Good(s) for a refund. We acknowledge that this might seem more complicated, we can assure you it is by far the most efficient and fastest way to ensure that you receive the goods you require.

Any returns sent back requesting an exchange will be refunded in line with our returns process.

You can exchange internet purchases at the Trekitt Service Centre in Hereford, to speed things along please remember to present the sales invoice supplied by us in respect of such Goods as proof of purchase. Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your account within 3 to 5 working days, depending on how your card provider processes refunds.

Refunds can only be made to the original payment method and are normally processed within 2 working days, however, during busy periods they can take up to 7 days.

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your PayPal account that same day.

Under the "Consumer Contract Regulations, you have the right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance. These rights start from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

If you feel that your item is defective/broken/faulty and it is still under warranty, please contact our Customer Support team([email protected])with as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

What is the Sirocco XT Hoodie?

The Sirocco XT Hoodie is designed for those days when you're working hard in the cold and don't want your insulation holding you back.

Lightweight and warm, it's built for highly breathable active insulation, to keep you feeling protected and comfortable throughout the day, whether hiking, hill walking, climbing or tackling more technical ascents.

Materials & Technology

PrimaLoft® Gold Active Vent Insulation

The Sirocco XT uses PrimaLoft® Gold Active Vent insulation in a body-mapped construction for breathable warmth, with highly effective moisture management to keep you comfortable when the trail gets tough.

Primaloft® Gold Active is a synthetic insulation that provides ample warmth, even when wet. The ability to retain heat when wet is a huge advantage of synthetic insulation compared to down, alongside being a vegan alternative.

This insulation is also incredibly air permeable for excellent levels of breathability to help regulate body temperature and reduce the risk of overheating during climbs or fast-paced movement.

It's made from 80% recycled polyester, which, though recycled, maintains performance and feel. This insulation does not migrate and has a four-way stretch to enhance flexibility and freedom of movement, whilst also being compressible and quick-drying, making it well-suited to the unpredictable UK mountain conditions.

Body-Mapped Insulation Design

Montane has used a body-mapped insulation construction, placing 80g insulation in the core for warmth and 60g insulation in higher-movement areas such as the arms and hood. This combination of insulation provides warmth in key areas, whilst keeping bulk to a minimum in others for maximum mobility and comfort. It also helps keep the jacket's weight and packsize to a mimimum, allowing it to take up less space in your pack.

FEATHERLITE™ Air Fabric

The outer and lining of the jacket are constructed with Montane's 20D Featherlite Air material, which is entirely made from recycled nylon. Featherlite Air is a tightly woven, lightweight and durable ripstop material engineered to provide wind resistance with exceptional breathability for high-output activities. The fabric features a mechanical stretch that allows the material to move with you, instead of holding you back.

Fluorocarbon-Free DWR Finish

The outer of the jacket is finished with a non-fluorocarbon DWR (durable water repellent) coating to provide light water resistance for added protection in changeable weather conditions. However, please note that this does not make the jacket waterproof - we always recommend carrying a waterproof shell for wet conditions.

The Sirocco XT Hoodie uses a combination of an air-permeable, yet highly wind-resistant outer and breathable insulation to allow the jacket to efficiently regulate body temperature. This clever construction helps keep you feeling comfortable throughout the day, preventing you from overheating on tougher sections of trail, while still providing ample warmth in cold conditions.

Lightweight Mountain Hood

A close-fitting hood provides additional warmth and protection without adding unnecessary bulk, allowing you to comfortably wear it underneath a climbing helmet or waterproof shell for maximum protection. A single-point rear adjustment allows you to fine-tune the fit to ensure it stays in place and moves with your head for maximum field of vision.

Pack and Harness Compatible Storage

For storage, you'll find two zipped hand pockets and an external chest pocket for keeping essentials close to hand. The pockets are positioned to remain accessible when wearing a climbing harness or backpack hip belt, ensuring they stay functional, whatever the adventure.

Recycled YKK NATULON® Zips

The jacket is fastened with a YKK NATULON® recycled front zip that provides reliable performance while reducing environmental impact. The full-length zip allows quick ventilation to help regulate temperature, should you start to warm up on steep ascents.

Stretch Construction for Freedom of Movement

The jacket features a mechanical stretch in the fabric and insulation to allow unrestricted movement during climbing, scrambling and hiking with poles. Low-profile seams throughout help reduce bulk and improve comfort level when wearing a backpack for long periods.
