DPD Returns Portal
We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 48 working hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.

We do not offer a free returns service. If using the DPD Returns Portal, a charge of £5 will be deducted from your refund when processed. Returns from Highlands and Islands using theDPD Returns Portalwill deduct £15.50 from the order refund. Large DPD returns will have £6 deducted from their refund. (Specifications are over 5kg, and over Length of 30cm x width of 30cm and height of 10cm). If customers are returning items using their own postal service, and our returns form, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

We are not liable for delays once an order has been dispatched. However, we will always work with the courier to assist in resolving any delivery issues where possible.

If you feel that your item is defective/broken/faulty and it is still under warranty, please contact our Customer Support team ([email protected]) with as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

In return, they will supply you with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN), a Returns Form and a FREE postage label. Please complete the returns form with as much detail as possible and include it with your item.

We cannot make any decisions before inspecting any claim. Should the item be found genuinely faulty, we aim to reach a fair and agreed solution, which may be a refund, a replacement or a professional repair.

We do not offer exchanges. Instead we ask you kindly to complete a new order for the desired replacement and return the unwanted Good(s) for a refund. We acknowledge that this might seem more complicated, we can assure you it is by far the most efficient and fastest way to ensure that you receive the goods you require.

Any returns sent back requesting an exchange will be refunded in line with our returns process.

You can exchange internet purchases at the Trekitt Service Centre in Hereford, to speed things along please remember to present the sales invoice supplied by us in respect of such Goods as proof of purchase. Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your account within 3 to 5 working days, depending on how your card provider processes refunds.

Refunds can only be made to the original payment method and are normally processed within 2 working days, however, during busy periods they can take up to 7 days.

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your PayPal account that same day.

Under the "Consumer Contract Regulations, you have the right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance. These rights start from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

What is Microlighter Pullover Hoody?

The Microlighter Pullover Hoody is a lightweight insulated pullover jacket designed for warmth while hiking, fastpacking, and climbing in cooler climates. It's built to provide efficient warmth with minimal weight and maximum breathability, making it easy to layer or stash in your pack when not in use.

Materials & Technology

Pertex® Quantum with NetPlus® Outer

The Microlighter Pullover Hoody is built from a fully recycled Pertex® Quantum fabric with NetPlus® yarn made from recycled fishing nets.

NetPlus® is developed in partnership with Bureo, which collects discarded fishing nets from coastal communities and recycles them into high-performance nylon yarn. This helps tackle one of the most harmful forms of ocean plastic pollution while reducing reliance on virgin fossil fuels.

The fabric itself uses a blend of finer 20D yarns in one direction and tougher 30D yarns in the other, which creates a tight, highly durable weave that provides excellent levels of wind resistance with minimal bulk and weight.

TXdown® Sheet Insulation

For warmth, the hoody uses TXdown® sheet insulation, which is an innovative blend of natural down and synthetic insulation that offers the best of both worlds, making it a reliable option for active use, where consistent warmth and breathability are important.

TXdown® is essentially a sheet of insulation that uses a blend of 75% natural fibres with 25% technical fibres to provide a balance of warmth and durability. Its fixed sheet construction ensures the insulation cannot migrate over time or when washed, keeping it evenly distributed across the jacket, eliminating the risk of cold spots forming over time compared to loose-fill down. This not only increases the insulation's durability, but also makes it much easier to care for than a traditional down jacket.

Fluorocarbon-Free DWR Finish

The outer fabric is finished with a fluorocarbon-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating to provide light water resistance for added protection in changeable weather conditions. However, please note that this does not make the jacket waterproof - we always recommend carrying a waterproof shell for wet conditions.

Pullover Design with Half Zip

The jacket features a lightweight YKK® half zip with an insulated baffle, which provides ample ventilation and temperature control to cool you down when needed, whilst keep the design simple and low bulk.

Close-Fitting Hood

A close-fitting hood helps retain warmth, whilst stretch binding edges help keep the hood in place in windy conditions, without the need for adjustment. The hood is designed to be low-bulk and to fit comfortably underneath a climbing helmet for versatile mountain use.

Zoned Baffle Construction

The Microlighter Pullover Hoody uses a combination of low-bulk stitch-through baffles filled with TXdown® sheet insulation for an even distribution of warmth across the jacket and to help ensure it stays firmly in place throughout the jacket's lifespan, whether it's being compressed or washed.

Pocket Layout

For storage, you'll find two YKK® zipped hand pockets for keeping your essentials safe, close to hand and easily accessible.

Integrated Storage Pocket

The hoody is highly compressible and packs down into its own pocket for easy and compact storage when not in use, meaning it will take up minimal space in your pack. However, please note, we always recommend storing your down jacket fully lofted at home to protect the down and maintain its lifespan.

Articulated Sleeves

Articulated sleeves provide a natural range of movement throughout the arms for better freedom of movement during various activities and a more comfortable fit when layering, to prevent you from feeling restricted.

Adjustable Hem

Part elasticated cuffs ensure maximum insulation around the wrists, whilst providing a comfortable fit around bulky gloves to effectively seal in the warmth and keep out the weather. At the bottom, you get a drawcord at the hem to tailor the fit over various layers to maximise warmth and help seal out cold drafts.
