What is the High Coast Lite Anorak?
It's a lightweight, packable and wind-resistant anorak that offers light protection from the elements. What is it made from?
The High Coast Lite Anorak is made from partially recycled lightweight and pliant polyester. Though partially recycled, this material makes no compromises! It feels smooth against the skin and has lesser bulk than standard materials, making it ideal for longer days on the hill and various outdoor activities. The polyester yarns help transport away moisture and dry quickly, which is handy if you get caught in a quick rain shower or start to work up a sweat on your adventure.
What are its features?
Starting from the top, an adjustable snug-fitting hood helps shield you from the sun and provides light wind protection. A long front zip and roomy fit make slipping the anorak on and off a breeze while providing good ventilation, so you don't overheat during your hike.
For storage, there are two top-loaded pockets, one of which doubles as a pack bag into which the anorak can be stored when not in use. There are also two zippered hand pockets. All the pockets feature a secure zipped closure and offer plenty of space to keep trail snacks, mobile phones, maps and guidebooks close to hand.
The cuffs feature elastic edging for comfort and stop the sleeves from flapping around in high winds. They also allow you to easily bunch them up to 3/4 length sleeves if you start to get a bit warm.
Finally, the jacket is finished with a drawcord adjustment to the bottom hem to help seal out drafts and stop the anorak from riding up when carrying a heavy backpack.
