What is the Trembler Jacket?
It's a robust, lightweight jacket primarily designed for exploring alpine rock routes and running in exposed mountain conditions. The Trembler is exceptionally breathable and is made from technical materials to provide optimum performance. Plus, it's not just limited to the mountains. You could wear it for more casual runs before work or climbing on cool, breezy days.
What is it made of?
The main body uses EXOLITE 45™, a stretchy, double-weave softshell material that offers fantastic durability with less weight and bulk. It has a smooth finish, dries quickly (handy for showery conditions) and can withstand abrasion from various terrain and general wear.
A micro-grid, partly recycled polyester lining promotes temperature regulation and feels lovely and soft to provide next-to-skin comfort, should you wear a baselayer t-shirt or vest. It wicks away moisture efficiently to help keep you fresh during intense activities and feels nice and airy on more humid days.
The arms and side panels comprise Lumiko stretch fleece which is made from recycled polyester and elastane. It feels lightweight and offers great freedom of movement, lowering the bulk in areas you don't need it.
What are its features?
Flatlocked seams improve next-to-skin comfort and help prevent rubbing and chafing when wearing a backpack. A reversed centre front zip helps to keep the front of the design smooth to prevent snagging and give it a sophisticated finish.
For storage, there are two zipped hand warmer pockets, and one Napoleon chest pocket, ideal for keeping mobile phones and other valuables secure and out of the way.
Low bulk cuffs make room for adding layers or gloves over the top. The Trembler also has a double-layer collar and elastane-bound hem that helps to keep the warmth in and provides plenty of flexibility for technical, high-output activities like climbing and scrambling.
The whole jacket packs into its own hand pocket and has twin carabiner carry loops for hooking it onto the outside of your backpack or belt loops on your trousers.
