What is the Transporter Travel Pack?
It's a durable backpack specially designed for travelling and commuting, whether heading abroad or travelling to work.
What is it made of?
The main body and base are constructed using high-tenacity nylon with ripstop and a NanoTough coating, which is incredibly strong and abrasion-resistant, so this bag can easily withstand being thrown around at the airport.
The lining comprises 210D nylon, which is much lighter yet incredibly robust. This material has a smooth finish to ensure further protection for the contents inside.
All materials are 100% recycled, keeping resources in the loop instead of allowing them to go to waste, and bluesign® approved.
bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.
All materials are also treated with a PFAS-free DWR (durable water repellent) to enhance weather protection by encouraging light rain and snow to bead off the fabric instead of soaking in. However, please note that this doesn't make the bag waterproof.
PFAS-free treatments avoid the use of harmful 'forever' chemicals. PFAS is a toxic chemical known to harm humans and the environment. It was previously commonly used in DWR treatments; however, many outdoor companies are now working to eliminate these chemicals from their production lines to contribute to a more responsible manufacturing process.
What backsystem does it use?
The Transporter Travel Pack features a tuckaway AirScape backpanel with ventilated foam shoulder straps to maximise temperature regulation and enhance comfort.
The unique split backpanel design also allows you to hook the backpack onto luggage trolley handles for hands-free carry through the airport.
Furthermore, two padded webbing handles allow for grab-and-go carry when you're in a rush.
What are the features?
This backpack features a front panel organiser pocket with key storage and room for essentials like books, magazines, stationary, etc.
A padded external pocket is ideal for more delicate items like glasses or toiletries, while the rear panel features a padded laptop sleeve that can be accessed externally.
You get a split packing area for lots of organisation options, a large water bottle pocket, and webbing loops for optional shoulder strap carry.
This backpack also comes with a pass-through sleeve on the backpanel, which slips over wheeled luggage handles so that you can add this to your airport trolley instead of bearing the load on your back.
The 36L capacity is a globally accepted carry-on size and will be deemed compatible with most airlines, although please check before you travel.
