What is the Ducan 32L?
The Ducan 32L is a 32-litre outdoor backpack that provides ample storage and organisation in a comfortable package. It's the perfect pack for hiking and hill walking when conquering longer distances or even a one-night wild camping trip with a minimal amount of kit.
What is it made of?
This backpack is made with a blend of 90% polyamide and 10% polyester, which is smooth, durable and relatively lightweight, making it perfect for hiking and trekking in rugged environments.
Materials are finished with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) for extra weather resistance.
Perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) used in earlier DWRs can't 'break down', so once they reach nature (usually via water waste from factories), they stay in the environment and contaminate living organisms, working their way up the food chain. PFC's are suspected carcinogens and have been known to affect reproduction and hormone production in mammals. For these reasons, many brands are now using PFC-free alternatives to reduce the impact manufacturing has on our beautiful planet.
The product is also bluesign® approved, meaning it's manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers and consumers. bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.

What backsystem does it use?
The Ducan uses a reworked, ventilated back system to deliver maximum airflow where it's needed most, helping prevent sweat build-up when working hard.
The anatomically shaped shoulder straps and hip belt deliver premium comfort, while the strategic padding for a barely-there feel still protects your back from the contents inside the pack.
An elasticated chest strap helps to reduce bounce without feeling restrictive or uncomfortable.
What are the features?
This pack offers various storage and organisation options. It features a large main compartment, a top flap with internal and external pockets, two mesh side pockets ideal for water bottles, and zip pockets on the hip belt for small essentials, such as trail snacks and gloves.
The Ducan is also hydration-system compatible and allows you to hook a reservoir system up for hands-free sipping.
Pole fixation on the front and side allows you to carry your walking poles easily without hassle when not in use.
Lastly, an integrated, detachable rain cover provides ample waterproof protection for your belongings when hiking in unpredictable conditions and wet weather.
