What is the Trailblazer 3?
It's a small hip pack designed for on-the-go lifestyles and minimal adventures, whether hiking, hill walking or taking the pooch to the park.
What is it made of?
Main: The primary fabric is 70D Raptor Cross Lite - a 100% nylon, recycled material with a durable PU coating that provides high abrasion and weather resistance. This material is incredibly durable and will last you for years to come. It's treated with PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) for enhanced protection without harmful 'forever' chemicals.
Lining: Halo 200D 100% polyester lining provides durability whilst keeping the weight to a minimum. Polyester has a smoother finish than nylon, helping to protect items inside the pack, such as sunglasses, from getting scratched. The lining is also treated with a PFC-free DWR for reinforced water resistance.
Mesh: Montane has constructed the mesh pockets with Power Mesh, which comprises 80% recycled nylon and 20% elastane. This material is incredibly lightweight, breathable, and stretchy, making it easy to accommodate different sizes of items. The hip belt uses Contact Air Mesh Plus (100% recycled polyester) to keep overall weight low without compromise.
What are its features?
The padded, highly breathable back panel is made with air mesh to enhance airflow around the bag's main contact points, helping to reduce sweat build-up.
Two large, easy-access stretchy hip fin pockets are perfect for storing snacks, energy gels or items for the pop, such as dog treats or poo bags, keeping them within reach at all times.
The main pocket provides plenty of space for a wallet, beanie hat, gloves or mobile phone. Inside, you'll also find an organisation sleeve and a key clip that ensures house or car keys don't get dropped and lost as you walk.
Combined, the bonded front panel and modular T-hook system are incredibly versatile, providing options for external carry; you can use them as a bungee system or even to hold hiking/running poles when not in use.
