What is the Atmos AG 50?
The Atmos AG is a technical 50 litre pack, which is secure, comfortable and breathable - great for backpacking trips and camping adventures. It has a lightweight mesh back panel for ventilation, alongside the AntiGravity™ back system with cam-lock adjustments, allowing the pack to hug the body for a snug fit.
What is it made of?
Osprey has crafted this pack using 210D Nylon Honey Comb Contrast Recycled BSAPP CO - a recycled fabric that is GRS-certified and Bluesign® approved. A PFC/PFAS free DWR coating creates a resistant barrier to protect your belongings in wetter conditions.
Which backsystem does it use?
The Osprey AntiGravity™ backsystem is a work of art and provides uncompromising ventilation and support. Made up of five main components that act together to provide unparalleled comfort.
ANTIGRAVITY™ SUSPENSION - Supporting the weight is a LightWire, fully tensioned, peripheral frame that transfers the load to your hips and flexes and moves with you for maximum comfort.
ANTIGRAVITY™ BACKPANEL - The main contact area, from top to bottom, is made from a sprung mesh to create an air gap between you and the pack itself. This mesh seamlessly wraps your shoulders, back and hips for a fully integrated and ventilated backpanel fit.
ANTIGRAVITY™ MESH HARNESS - The shoulder harness continues the padded and ventilated theme and can be adjusted to suit your torso length by a simple cam-buckle arrangement. Structural LoadLifter bars at the top of the straps really help to spread the load and take the weight off your shoulders, whilst a sternum strap helps to balance the weight evenly and increases comfort.
ANTIGRAVITY™ HIPBELT – The suspended mesh theme continues through the padded hipbelt which wraps closely around your hips for optimal weight transfer and comfort. Featuring a Fit-on-the-Fly adjustment, the hipbelt can be adapted to suit your body perfectly, ensuring the structural fins are in the most efficient position.
ANTIGRAVITY™ CAM-LOCK ADJUSTMENT – The cam-lock adjustment allows the shoulder harness to be adjusted using the cam-buckle arrangement. Straps across the waist and hips can also be adjusted and secured with this system, which creates a snug fit to ensure the AntiGravity™ system works most efficiently, preventing the pack from moving around.
What are its features?
The lid at the top of the backpack is removable and comes with a FlapJacket™ cover, a valuable feature for getting into the pack quicker and more efficiently. Dual large side-access zips allow you to unload your bag easily, whilst twin zippered hip belt pockets are great for reaching essential belongings like your phone, GPS, or snacks, without taking your pack off.
The AntiGravity™ back system with cam-lock adjustments allows you to customise the backpack's fit, supported by the Fit-on-the-Fly™ adjustable hip belt and harness to distribute weight evenly across the body. Dual front bellows pockets sit at the front of the pack, allowing extra room for smaller items, which is great to prevent from drowning underneath the big stuff in the larger back compartments of the bag.
The Atmos AG 50 is treated with a PFC/PFAC free DWR, creating a water and dirt repellent barrier over the material, meaning this pack is suitable to take on slightly more challenging weather spells.
