This innovative mat is perfect for backpacking, travelling and mountaineering in cold conditions thanks to the super warm Exkin Platinum and Thermolite insulation, exceptionally comfortable dual layer construction and the ability to deflate and inflate the upper and lower of the mat independently.
Featuring one of the most innovative and advanced systems of inflation and deflation available, the Comfort Plus allows you to inflate the upper and lower of the mat to different pressures, optimising your comfort depending on the conditions. If you're a little on the light side and require less inflation, you're able to deflate the top half to the optimum level, whilst still leaving the lower half firm enough to protect you against rough terrain. Alternatively, heavier users can inflate both the upper and lower to a firmer pressure to avoid heat loss.
Providing further comfort is Sea to Summit's Cell technology. Rather than a flat surface, Sea to Summit opt for a 'cell' shape; this provides excellent support by distributing your body weight evenly over the surface. Inside the mat, you'll find super warm Thermolite and Exkin Platinum insulation to provide enough warmth for winter seasons. Exkin Platinum reflects your natural body heat back to you, while Thermolite insulation prevents convective heat loss over time. If that wasn't enough, the Comfort Plus includes an anti-microbial treatment to avoid future issues when warm, moist air inevitably becomes trapped inside.
Included with the mat is an Airstream pumpsack which is integrated into the stuffsack and allows effortless inflation. Deflation is also quick and simple and can be fine tuned during use thanks to the cleverly placed valves.
