What is it made of?
This t-shirt comprises natural Tencel® yarns and Nuyarn Merino which uses a blend of merino wool and nylon.
Tencel® fibres are produced from sustainably sourced wood pulp using responsible processes and are certified as compostable and biodegradable. Tencel® carries multiple certifications in terms of sustainability, including the USDA biobased product certification and an EU Ecolabel, and it has a European Award for the Environment. The yarns contribute to breathability and comfort, feeling gentle on the skin.
Merino wool is renowned for being naturally odour resistant, durable, breathable and moisture wicking. Nuyarn technology enhances the performance of merino wool by using a patented twist-free process to construct the yarns instead of traditional spinning methods. It drafts the fibres along a high-performance filament, which amplifies its natural properties for unparalleled performance, offering superior next-to-skin benefits. It has a 5x faster drying time and 35% more stretch and loft (lessening the weight). Nuyarn is also 53% less wind permeable and 50% more durable than standard merino, and it still uses 30% less raw materials! Pretty impressive, huh?
What are its features?
