Consumer Contract Regulations (CCR)

What are the Consumer Contract Regulations?

Under the "Consumer Contract Regulations, you have the right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance. These rights start from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

Your right to cancel

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

Your Right to a Refund under CCR

You may get a refund within 14 days of either, the trader getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.

A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

Refunding the cost of delivery

The trader has to refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service e.g. guaranteed next day, it only has to refund the basic cost.

Exemptions

There are some circumstances where the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not give you a right to cancel. These include CDs, DVDs or software if you've broken the seal on the wrapping, perishable items and tailor-made or personalised items. They also include goods with a seal for health protection and hygiene reasons that have been broken or tampered with, e.g. Climbing Equipment and PPE.

My goods are broken

If you feel that your item is defective/broken/faulty and it is still under warranty, please contact our Customer Support team([email protected])with as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

Norrona Women's Falketind Warm1 Active Jacket Caviar Black

Season:SS26

Brand:Norrona

Code:1896-26-7718

Breathability — Built for High-Output Days Norrona’s most breathable fleece midlayer, designed for those who move fast and demand performance. Originally built for mountaineering, the FalketindWarm1Active excels at ski touring, trail running, and brisk hikes – keeping you dry, comfortable, and perfectly temperature-regulated.

What Is the Norrona Women's Falketind Warm1 Active Jacket?

The Falketind Warm1 Active Jacket is a lightweight, performance-oriented midlayer built for versatility and dynamic movement. Weighing just 192g (size M), it provides maximum breathability and rapid moisture management, keeping you comfortable even during high-output adventures.

Originally designed for mountaineering, this jacket's refined balance of warmth, stretch, and airflow makes it just as suitable for ski touring, trail running, hiking, or general outdoor use. Whether worn as a standalone layer on milder days or under a shell in colder conditions, it ensures consistent thermoregulation without bulk.

What Is It Made Of?

Main Fabric

The main fabric features Norrona's lightweight warm1 fleece, made entirely from 100% recycled polyester (PES). This soft, lofty material provides impressive insulation for its low weight, trapping warm air close to the body while efficiently wicking away moisture.

It dries quickly after exertion or washing, and its smooth outer surface offers excellent durability for long-term use under a shell or harness.

Secondary Fabric

Strategically placed grid fleece panels improve mobility, stretch, and breathability in key areas. This fabric features a smooth, knitted exterior and a one-sided grid interior that enhances airflow, allowing heat to escape during high-intensity movement while maintaining core warmth.

The added elastane provides flexibility and comfort, ensuring unrestricted motion across all activities.

About warm1 Fabric

The warm1 series represents Norrona's lightest and most breathable fleece category, weighing under 200g/m². These fabrics trap warm air effectively while maintaining high moisture transport for all-day comfort.

When worn alone, they allow ample air circulation to prevent overheating in mild conditions. Layered under a shell, they provide efficient insulation and superior temperature regulation — making them among the most versatile and high-performing fleeces available.

Responsible Construction

Both fleece fabrics used in the Falketind Warm1 Active Jacket are Bluesign and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified, ensuring they meet some of the world's strictest sustainability and safety standards.

The Bluesign certification guarantees that no harmful substances are used during production, while also ensuring that emissions and waste are reduced through efficient resource management. Meanwhile, GRS certification confirms the recycled origin of the fibres and validates that the recycling process meets rigorous environmental and social criteria.

HeiQ Fresh FFL Odour-Control Technology

To further enhance comfort and practicality, the Falketind Warm1 Active Jacket is treated with HeiQ Fresh FFL. This innovative, bio-based odour-control finish helps prevent unpleasant smells caused by bacteria and sweat.

Unlike traditional chemical or silver-based treatments, HeiQ Fresh FFL uses renewable, non-toxic ingredients derived from natural sources, making it safer for both the wearer and the environment.

This treatment keeps the fleece fresh for extended periods, making it ideal for multi-day trips, alpine adventures, or consecutive training sessions without the need for washing, while maintaining softness, breathability, and moisture management.

What Are Its Features?

Fit and Weight

The Falketind Warm1 Active Jacket has a regular fit that layers easily under shells or over baselayers. At only 192g (size M), it delivers the warmth and protection of a traditional fleece at a fraction of the weight.

Comfortable, Chafe-Free Collar

The soft, low-profile collar sits comfortably against the neck without irritation, providing warmth and protection without adding bulk.

Front Zip with Chin Guard

A smooth full-length front zip allows for easy temperature regulation, while the integrated chin guard prevents rubbing or discomfort during extended wear.

Zippered Chest Pocket

A secure chest pocket provides convenient access to small essentials such as a phone, GPS, or energy bar, making it ideal for use under a harness or backpack.

Floating Mid-Mounted Pockets

The jacket includes two mid-mounted hand pockets that remain accessible while wearing a climbing harness or hip belt. Their floating construction reduces bulk and enhances comfort around the waist.

Stretch Side Panels

Flexible stretch panels at the sides improve mobility and ventilation, reducing bulk while maintaining a trim, ergonomic fit for layering.

Gusseted Underarms and Articulated Sleeves

The gusseted underarm design and articulated sleeves allow full freedom of movement without the fabric bunching or lifting — ideal for climbing or ski touring.

Elastic Cuffs with Thumb Grips

Elastic cuffs with integrated thumb loops keep sleeves securely in place, providing additional coverage and warmth for the hands during cold or windy conditions.

Elastic Hem and Dropped Back

The elasticated hem helps seal in warmth while maintaining a clean, fitted look. A longer back cut provides extra coverage and helps prevent heat loss when reaching or bending.

FAQ

What type of activities is the Falketind Warm1 Active best for?

It’s designed for mountaineering but excels in any high-output activity – including ski touring, trail running, hiking, climbing, and fast-paced trekking. Wherever you’re moving hard, it’s built to regulate temperature and manage sweat efficiently.

How does it handle sweat and moisture?

Exceptionally well. The Warm1 fleece structure combined with grid panels wicks moisture quickly and dries fast, keeping you comfortable even during sustained effort.

Does it have odour control?

Yes. It’s treated with HeiQFreshFFL to help prevent odours naturally, without harsh chemicals or silver ions – ideal for multi-day trips or back-to-back training sessions.

Can I wear it directly against the skin?

Yes. The interior fleece is soft and smooth enough for next-to-skin comfort on milder days, while still layering perfectly over a technical base layer when temperatures drop.

How does it compare to the Falketind Warm2?

The Warm1Active is the lightest and most breathable option in the range. The Warm2 provides more insulation for colder conditions, while other Norrona fleeces focus on stretch or active warmth.

How packable is it?

Very. Its low-bulk construction compresses easily into a pack, making it ideal for multi-day missions, alpine travel, or lightweight adventures.

Is it durable enough for mountain use?

Yes. The smooth-knit outer face resists abrasion from pack straps and repeated layering, making it a reliable companion for technical days in the mountains.
