What is the Modulus Hoody?

It's a slim-fitting and warm technical fleece midlayer that offers exceptional durability and trail-ready functionality for a wide range of outdoor pursuits, both on and off the mountain.

What is it made from?

The Modulus Hoody is made from Thermic™ Stretch Pro brushed-back fleece fabric, which comprises recycled polyester, polyamide, and elastane. Thermic™ Stretch Pro utilises a new method of fleece construction to create a smooth fleece with advanced levels of warmth, wind resistance, and durability while retaining the material's thermal properties. The result is a fleece that's exceptionally warm, abrasion-resistant, quick-drying, and lightweight, making it a fantastic choice for exploring in cold climates.

Rab has used Matrix™ single weave stretch nylon to construct the arm pocket. Matrix™ is a super lightweight stretch fabric that has great freedom of movement, is wind resistant and highly durable, making it a great accompaniment to Thermic™ Stretch Pro.

What are its features?

The Modulus Hoody features a cosy under helmet hood to shield you from cold winds and provide maximum thermal retention, whatever the adventure. A simple YKK® VISLON® centre front zip with fleece-lined chin guard provides flexible ventilation whilst you're on the go and comfort around the face when fully zipped.

Integrated thumb loops to the cuffs help prevent excess fabric from bunching when layering and offer additional coverage across the wearer's palms. For storage, there are two zippered mesh-lined hand pockets and a single zipped arm pocket to keep trail essentials close to hand, such as a mobile phone, energy gels and a GPS device. The arm pocket is strategically placed on the left arm to keep items out of the way whilst moving and is made from a contrasting Matrix™ stretch fabric.

Finally, the fleece features a set-in sleeve construction with an underarm panel for excellent freedom of movement when reaching up and stretching, making it ideal for climbing and scrambling in cold climates.

1Bust

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

6Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
