What are the Technicians?
The Black Diamond Technician’s are a pair of durable, comfortable shoes designed for technical approaches. The have a soft Suede upper, a comfortable liner and super sticky rubber that make them perfect for use on rocky terrains. They’re the ideal shoe to wear to the crag and back to the pub afterwards!
What ae they made of?
Upper: The Technicians feature a super high quality suede leather upper that not only looks great, but it exceptionally durable and, thanks to the lining, is also comfortable all day long. For added durability the shoes feature strategically placed, welded TPU overlays that help the shoes cope with extra abrasion from technical approaches.
Midsole: The shoes feature a tuned EVA midsole that perfectly balances stiffness and comfort, allowing for high-performance precision where you need it, and day-long comfort.
Sole: The technicians feature a BlackLabel-Mountain rubber throughout the sole that provides a super sticky grip on terrains that require precise edging and smearing.
What are the features?
The Technicians feature a lightweight wrap-style tongue that allows for easy on and off when you get to the crag. The graduated lace system goes all the way to the toe, allowing you to adjust the fit to suit your feet and get a super-secure fit. The carabiner loop on the back of the shoe allows you to clip your shoes to your harness when you’re out on demanding climbs.
