What is the Daylite Duffel 60?
The Daylite Duffel 60 is a 60-litre duffel bag that works perfectly for travelling, holidays, and road trips in the camper van. Thanks to its dual functionality design, it can be used as a regular duffel or carried like a backpack, providing maximum versatility for any adventure.
What is it made of?
This main body is made with a 100% recycled 300D polyester ripstop. 300D means 300 denier; this incredibly high material denier makes the Daylite Duffel extremely robust and long-lasting. The ripstop nature of this fabric also ensures that it'll survive being dragged through airport baggage systems or rough terrain if you're venturing into a remote location for the weekend.
The base of this bag is reinforced with an even tougher, 100% recycled 600D polyester packcloth, which is double the thickness of the main body fabric, delivering extreme durability and making this duffel the last duffel bag you'll ever need to buy—it'll last you a lifetime!
Inside, the lining comprises 100% recycled 200D polyester, which is smooth enough to keep contents well protected inside and less bulky to help reduce the weight.
All materials are treated with a PFAS-free DWR (durable water repellent), which encourages light rain and snow to bead off the material instead of soaking in. PFAS-free treatments are more environmentally responsible than conventional ones, as they do not contain harmful 'forever chemicals'. Please note, however, that this treatment does not make it fully waterproof!
All materials are also bluesign® approved, meaning they're manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers and consumers. bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.
What backsystem does it use?
A duffel bag? With a back system? Yep, you heard correctly!
This duffel bag comes with a clever carry system that features a lightweight, comfortable harness with spacer mesh-covered, EVA foam-padded straps. You can use these straps as either grab handles or shoulder straps, giving you the option to wear this bag as a backpack or carry it as a regular duffel. The small hook-and-loop attachment on the shoulder straps fastens the two straps together for a user-friendly, comfortable in-hand carry solution. Undo this attachment, and you've got yourself a functional backpack. Cool, right?
What are its features?
The large U-zip opening on the front panel allows you to see all of the contents inside the bag, saving you from fumbling around and wasting time trying to find things. It leads you to the spacious main compartment that provides ample storage for clothing, toiletries and any other essentials.
A small end-zip pocket is perfect for tucking away small belongings and keeping them accessible at all times. An additional side zip pocket also provides secure storage for slightly larger items, such as a guidebook, book, or passport.
This duffel bag also comes with a stretchy mesh water bottle pocket, which gives your bottles an allocated and secure place to sit instead of rolling around in the bag.
