What are the Alaska Pro Wide GTX?

What are they made of?
The outer of these boots is made of 2.4mm full-grain waxed leather that is naturally durable, breathable and waterproof. Leather boots are a fantastic option if you're looking for something a little more traditional without compromising performance - they're a must-have for conventional outdoor enthusiasts!
The lower section of the boot has a high rubber rand that can withstand bumps and scrapes and gives the toe extra solidarity for scrambling and working your way through rocky terrain.
TPU reinforcement provides superior comfort and added longevity in the midsole.
These boots also have a Gore-Tex® lining for added waterproofness without compromising breathability, comfort and weight. It gives you full protection from the elements, no matter how harsh the conditions.

They are a category B/C boot, which means they're suitable for mountainous terrain carrying a medium-weight pack.
They have a Vibram® sole with deep lugs for a specialised grip to assist you on wet surfaces, rock and loose terrain. Vibram® soles are renowned for their robust, reliable nature and are developed for specific outdoor use and activities, helping you to perform your best to reach the summit or complete the trail.
The Alaska Pro Wide Boots have a full lace-up system that goes right to the top of the boot for enhanced fit and weather protection. Laces are sturdy and secured with strong metal hooks that grip well to keep laces in place.
