What is the Escape Kit Bag?
The Escape Kit Bag is an ultra-tough, weather-resistant duffel featuring many carry options, organisational pockets and 30-litres of space to hold all your bits and bobs for a weekend of van camping or a day out climbing at your local crag.
What is it made of?
The key to the Escape's exceptional durability is its mixture of 420D and 1680D fabrics. A 1680D ballistic polyester is used on the base for added abrasion resistance while the rest of the bag uses a 420D variant with a Hydroshield Dura coating. This coating ensures the duffel will repel light to moderate rain if you happen to get caught out. To top it off, the base fabric is 50% recycled.
What are its features?
You would have thought a duffel would just be like a big bucket without any fancy bells and whistles, but nope! The Escape Kit Bag features a harness that allows you to wear it as a backpack when wandering around airports, train stations, city centres or for walk-ins. When the harness isn't in use, fasten the two straps together, and it becomes a practical carrying handle. Other external features include compression straps to stop your kit from rolling about if not fully packed, two more grab handles and a nice big Rab logo on the side.
Inside, you've got a large zipped mesh pocket and another smaller mesh pocket to organise your kit. Finally, there's a handy internal pocket for the whole duffel to pack into when not in use.
