Consumer Contract Regulations (CCR)

What are the Consumer Contract Regulations?

Under the "Consumer Contract Regulations, you have the right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance. These rights start from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

Your right to cancel

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

Your Right to a Refund under CCR

You may get a refund within 14 days of either, the trader getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.

A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

Refunding the cost of delivery

The trader has to refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service e.g. guaranteed next day, it only has to refund the basic cost.

Exemptions

There are some circumstances where the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not give you a right to cancel. These include CDs, DVDs or software if you've broken the seal on the wrapping, perishable items and tailor-made or personalised items. They also include goods with a seal for health protection and hygiene reasons that have been broken or tampered with, e.g. Climbing Equipment and PPE.

My goods are broken

If you feel that your item is defective/broken/faulty and it is still under warranty, please contact our Customer Support team([email protected])with as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

Norrona Men's Falketind Alpha120 Zip Hood Jacket Indigo

Season:Sale AW25

Brand:Norrona

Code:1815-20-2295

What is the Norrona Men's Falketind Alpha120 Zip Hood Jacket?

The Falketind Alpha120 Zip Hood is a men's fleece jacket crafted to meet the demands of mountaineering. Its outstanding features make it equally suitable for trail running, ski touring, and other dynamic activities.

What is it made of?

The Norrona Alpa 120 Jacket is made of Polartec Alpha 120 insulation, known for its breathability and warmth. This material is engineered to help regulate body temperature by effectively trapping warmth while allowing excess heat to escape. This ensures you stay cosy without overheating, which is helpful during active pursuits in cold environments.

Polartec Alpha 120 is made from recycled materials. Its warmth is reliable, yet it doesn't add significant bulk, making the jacket easier to pack and layer under other garments if necessary.

In addition to the primary insulation, the jacket features Polartec Power Grid fabric in essential areas such as under the arms, the sides, and the hood. This fabric blends 97% polyester and 3% elastane, which is pivotal for adding flexibility and enhancing the overall fit of the jacket.

The inclusion of elastane provides stretch, allowing the jacket to conform better to the body and providing excellent freedom of movement. The Power Grid fabric's design also excels in moisture wicking and improves the garment's overall breathability, complementing the main insulation's thermal regulation properties.

The Norrona Alpa 120 Jacket incorporates high-performing fabrics that are also environmentally responsible. This jacket is Oeko-Tex certified, which ensures that the fabric's chemical usage meets or exceeds both national and international regulations and standards.

Additionally, the Allpa 120 is made of Bluesign-certified fabric, ensuring that production of this jacket meets strict environmental and safety standards.

The accreditation involves testing and educating textile factories to eliminate harmful substances from their manufacturing processes.

What are its features?

This mid-layer is designed with a technical fit that hugs the body closely yet allows freedom of movement, making it ideal for active use. It features articulated arms, which means the sleeves can accommodate and enhance the natural movements of your arms, providing better mobility and comfort during activities.

The jacket includes a close-fitted stretch hood that contours smoothly around the head. This design helps to retain warmth without compromising peripheral vision or comfort, making it exceptionally functional in windy or cold conditions.

An asymmetric cut with a longer back ensures better coverage and protection from elements. During activities such as biking or climbing, where the body is frequently bent forward, the longer design prevents exposing your back to cold or wet conditions.

A strategically placed chest pocket with a secure zipper closure and two hand pockets offers convenient storage for essential items. They are positioned to be easily accessible, even when wearing a backpack or harness. They are ideal for keeping important items like keys, snacks, a phone, or small gear such as a multi-tool within quick and easy reach.

This jacket also has elasticated cuffs that provide a close fit that blocks out cold air and moisture. Integrated thumb holes keep the sleeves more in place, enhancing coverage and warmth for the hands.

Thanks to an elastic hem, the jacket will fit securely around the waist, adapting to body movements and helping to seal in warmth while keeping out drafts.

The jacket also has a 4mm YKK front zipper, which is renowned globally for its high quality. The 4mm size refers to the width of the zipper teeth, offering a sturdy closure that resists snagging and separation.

This robust zipper is specifically designed to withstand frequent use and the tough demands of outdoor activities. Its durability means it's less likely to fail when you need it most, such as when quickly adjusting your layers in response to changing weather conditions.

Additionally, the jacket features a Viking logo embodying the spirit of adventure, resilience, and exploration that Vikings were known for. Historically, Vikings were explorers, warriors, and seafarers who ventured into unknown territories, showing remarkable bravery and navigational skills. This spirit aligns well with the ethos of outdoor adventuring, where pushing the limits, exploring new paths, and enduring harsh conditions are essential.
